Camino de Santiago – Packing List

Packing for the Camino is an exercise in “pack light and carry on”. It is recommended that you do not go over 10-15% of your body weight. Apparently, the albergues all along the Camino are FULL of crap people leave behind.  It took months of research, reading what people took, what people regretted they took – but I think I have my own packing list now. Without food and water, my pack is about 20 pounds. And yes, that does fall in the 10-15% window of my weight 🙂 There are some things on the list that I could leave at home but…I don’t want to.
