Random on the Camino Frances

One thing I find really fascinating about the Camino experience is that each day really is a new day. Being constantly on the move and the fact that my brain can hold only so much, details of previous days were temporarily forgotten and things like day of the week and dates were totally obliterated! You definitely experience what it is like to take each day as it comes. And it is quite liberating. But never fear – it isn’t lost forever. When I got home and looked back at my photos and my journal, all those missing details came flooding back. And sometimes those details were odd in a fun way. This photo essay depicts some of the odd or fun details that I came across along the Camino Frances.

  1. It’s so fantastic that we live in the era of digital cameras, when, compared to the days of film our ability to take pictures seems almost unlimited so that we can capture these little details and look back on them!

That clown is scary though! He doesn’t need to be remembered…
